Spain’s Windfarms Briefly Produced More Than Half Of The County’s Electrical Needs Over The Weekend

With high winds gusting across much of the country, Spain’s huge network of windfarms jointly poured the equivalent of 11 nuclear power stations’ worth of electricity into the national grid; producing 53% of the entire country’s electrical needs for several hours. Just goes to show that significant power production doesn’t have to involve dirty processes.
