Seattle-Based ‘Give Away’ Site About To Expand Nationally

Kashless is a website where people can go and post things they no longer want or need to be given away for free. It’s like a giant free eBay. The website is now about to go national, so don’t throw your stuff away; give it away to someone who wants it.

  • There are many local non-profit exchange websites as well which need support/participation. Check your local government website's recycling/reuse section to see if there are any in your area. For Washington State, check out http://www.2good2toss.com. Boulder, CO has http://www.ecocycleexchange.org/exchange. Madison, WI has http://www.madisonstuffexchange.com. I've done some work with the environmental software company that creates these websites - some pretty cool features and tracking/measurement capabilities. Between these sites, and Kashless, Freecycle, Craigslist, etc... there's no reason anything should end up in landfill! :)
